FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Our products are handmade with great care and love. This means that every product that leaves our studio can have a small difference than our example photo. This makes, besides the personalization, every product unique!
Consider, for example, color differences. We take our photos in daylight. Colors can differ per screen and colors can turn out differently if you unpack your product in the evening.
There may also be a difference if you order a product that contains dried or preserved flowers/plants. Since these are natural products, there may be differences in size or color. We always try to limit this as much as possible by carrying out a strict selection during purchasing. If the flower/plant is smaller than our example photo, we will make it up by adding more of this flower/plant.
Finally, it may be that one specific flower/plant is out of stock, which means we have to replace it with an equivalent flower/plant. We try to keep the difference minimal, but always in line with the colour palette that has been chosen.
1. Placing an order is very easy! For each product a selection is provided what you can choose out of.
This way you can fully personalize the product to your own wishes.
2. The product will be made and sent directly to you or the receiver.
3. You'll receive an email with a Track & Track or a timeslot during which we will personally deliver your order.
The ordering process is exactly the same as when you send it to yourself. However, please be aware of the following:
- When you fill in the personal information: fill in the correct name and surname of the receiver. If the package is sent to a pickup point, the receiver needs to be able to show the same name and surname on the package.
- When you fill in the contact information: fill in your own phone number and email. In this way we can easily contact you in case of any issues and we do not spoil the potential surprise effect.
- We do not include any invoices in our packages. Invoices are sent directly to your email.
- If you specify yourself as the sender and write the name of the recipient in the delivery address, we will make sure that your name is mentioned as the sender. This way the recipient knows who it is from!

Definitely, no request is too much for us! Send us your request with as many details as possible and we will revert back to you with you information. Send an email to info@atelierblancamsterdam.com.
Please note: depending on the size of the order, it should be placed at least a week in advance. This way we can take the time to help you through all the choices!
Unfortunately, we do not offer a standard (extra) card with our products where you can leave a personal message, this is because there is often a text on the balloon or there is already an option for a message on a card. Do you still want to add an extra card? Then we offer the Flower Notes !
Send an e-mail to info@atelierblancamsterdam.com to request any changes. Include your name, order number, and the requested amendment.
* We cannot provide any guarantees that all the requested changed can be processed.
That is certainly possible! We do however recommend that you first open the box upon receipt to check whether the product has arrived safely. Is it a balloon? In the box we have placed a card with instructions on how to keep the balloon beautiful for as long as possible!
Need something last minute? Send an email to info@atelierblancamsterdam.com with all the details of the product you would like to order from our website + when you would like to have it delivered (also mention the location). We will then be happy to see if we can help you further.
Unfortunately we do not accept last minute orders of custom orders. Custom orders include all products that are not offered on our website.
No, invoices are only sent to your email address.
The delivery date can be entered at the end, before you go to checkout. We ensure that it is sent to the delivery service(s) in the Netherlands & Belgium 1 working day before the delivery date. For Germany this is 4 working days.
Is it a delivery in Amsterdam, Amstelveen or Diemen? Then it will be delivered personally by us from Monday to Friday, For delivery on Saturday, this will be done via PostNL.
Occasionally it can happen that the postal services do not have sufficient capacity to deliver the order on the desired delivery date. Unfortunately, we do not have any influence on the delivery of the postal services and hope for your understanding on this.
Attention: orders will not be delivered on Sundays and holidays.
There may be several reasons why a desired delivery date cannot be selected:
- we are fully booked or closed for this date(s)*
- no deliveries possible on sundays
- no delivery possible on holidays

Postal delivery: Unfortunately, it is not possible to pass on your wishes in advance regarding delivery times. PostNL/DHL often offers the possibility to change the time slot. We advise you to keep an eye on this via Track & Trace.
Personal delivery: Desired delivery times can only be communicated when the order is placed at least one week in advance. This can be mentioned in the notes (no evening delivery possible).

Orders are made and shipped within 2 business days after you have placed the order. After this, PostNL has delivered the order within 1 to 2 days. Unless another desired delivery date has been chosen.
Personal delivery (mo-fri): On the day of delivery, an email will be sent in the morning before 11:00 with a time slot in which we will deliver the product. Delivery is from Monday to Friday with the exception of holidays, unless otherwise stated. Is the recipient not at home? Then we will try to deliver it to the neighbors. The recipient will then receive a card in the mailbox where he/she can pick it up. Products are delivered without box, protective film, etc. This can be ordered for an additional fee. If you want to make use of this, please send an email to info@atelierblancamsterdam.com.
Saturday delivery with PostNL*:: For deliveries on Saturday, this will be delivered by PostNL. The package will be offered to PostNL on Friday (unless it is a holiday).

All orders to be delivered outside of Amsterdam, Amstelveen or Diemen, but in the Netherlands are shipped via postal service (PostNL).
Orders are made and shipped within 2 business days after you have placed the order. After this, PostNL will have delivered the order within 1 to 2 days. Unless another desired delivery date has been selected. Desired delivery date falls on Tuesday-Saturday? This will be shipped the day before. Delivery date on Monday? Postal delivery in the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany:
Is the recipient not at home? Then PostNL/DHL will most likely send it directly to a collection point. Nowadays, the recipient will no longer receive a note. Make sure you inform the recipient, so that he/she knows that a gift is ready at a collection point.
Atelier Blanc uses:
• Silk flowers
• Dried flowers
• Preserved flowers
Fresh flowers/plants can be included when multiple products are ordered (min. 5).

Product in the balloon: In 80% of all cases this is possible.
Send us an email with what you want to have processed in the balloon + what else you want for the design of the balloon. You can also add example photos, this can be sent to: info@atelierblancamsterdam.com be sent. We will get back to you as soon as possible to see if it is possible.
Please note that the product must be delivered to us at least 1 week in advance. Furthermore, it may be that the balloon cannot be sent, depending on what needs to be processed in it!
Please note that the balloon must be broken in order to remove the gift. If you still want to incorporate a gift into our products without puncturing the balloon, take a look at our “Gift Box" collection!
Send the product in the shipping box or deliver it during personal delivery: in 90% this is possible. Send us an email with what you would like to have sent and we will get back to you quickly with an answer + possible next steps. Send an email to: info@atelierblancamsterdam.com
Our experience is that customers order their present(s) and send this to our address. This saves shipping costs and additional actions.
Unfortunately this is not possible! We do offer the Money Pull, with which you can add cash to the gift yourself.
The Money Pull can be found under “Extras” in the main menu.
That is certainly possible! Just keep in mind that the choice of font(s) does not apply.
When you enter text in the text box, what you see will be what will appear on the balloon/card.
To be sure, keep an eye on your email after you have placed your order, as we may have questions about the text.
Dependent on how well you take care of it, this can go up to a few months or even a year.
We provide an instruction card with each order. When the instructions provided are followed up on accordingly, the product will stay in good shape for a longer period.
Did you receive a balloon? Then our advice is to take this out of the box directly and place it in a space on room temperature.
Do you have to transport the balloon? Ensure the balloon is transported on room temperature. Shifts in temperature can cause the balloon to shrink.
Balloon is sent to a pickup point? Ensure that the balloon is picked up as soon as possible.
The products from Atelier Blanc Amsterdam are made by hand, in our own atelier, fully personalized to your wishes. Next to this Atelier Blanc Amsterdam strives to ship your products as soon as possible. Due to these reasons, is it unfortunately not possible to cancel your order.
The products of Atelier Blanc Amsterdam are personalized to the customer wishes. This means that every product is unique and has it's own character. Due to this reason, it is not possible to return a product. If a default appears due to the production process, we are open to have a look for a fitting solution. In this case, or for further information on returning your order, please contact our customer service by sending an email to info@atelierblancamsterdam.com.
Attention: production defaults need to be reported immediately after receiving the order. Please reach out to us immediately with your order number and always send us a picture of the default, so we can help you the best we can.
